Hello, my name is Henk Hulshof and I live and work in Overijssel.
I have many hobbies and in that sense I am a jack of all trades. But photography is starting to take serious forms by now.

I do a lot of landscape, nature and urban photography, but in fact I don't shy away from any subject

From the analogue era I had already been working with the photo camera, I had not heard of photo editing at the time. And it was always hoping for a good result when the roll was sent for development. . In the early days of the digital era, I even stopped photographing for a while, for me the romance was a bit off. Especially because everyone was busy with photos and I felt that there was no longer any difference to be made

Gradually it started to itch again, mainly because of the fact that there were so many fun things to do on the computer in post-processing with Photoshop, for example.

Still, the result remained amateurish, until I decided to sign up with stock agencies with the goal of putting my photos up for sale. I joined stock agencies because 'otherwise they would just be wasted on my hard drive'.

Then I quickly discovered that you are judged very hard on mistakes in compositions, depth of field and everything to do with photography.

That has accelerated my learning curve dramatically, I started following endless tutorials on youtube about everything to do with photos and post-processing.

I now use fully up-to-date software from Adobe and I apply Lightroom, Photoshop and Topaz Denoise AI with verve.

But the learning curve is not finite and improving myself remains part of it.
